All Document Focus Privacy Policy
Update Date: May 20, 2025
Effective Date: May 20, 2025
Please be sure to read and fully understand this privacy policy. Before using “All Document Focus” (hereinafter referred to as “this App”), please confirm that you fully understand the content of this policy. Once you start using this App, it means that you agree to our collection, use, sharing, and protection of your relevant information in accordance with this policy. This privacy policy is an integral part of the user agreement of this App.
We are deeply aware of the importance of personal information to you and will do our utmost to ensure the security and reliability of your personal information. We strictly comply with applicable laws and regulations (including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), etc.) to collect and use your information. The following sections will detail how we collect, use, store, and protect your information, as well as the rights you enjoy.
1.Types of Information We Collect
During your use of this App, we may collect the following information related to your use of the services based on the principles of legality, legitimacy, and necessity:
Information you voluntarily provide: When you actively fill in or submit information in the App (e.g., submitting feedback), we may collect your email address and feedback content. This information is used only for the functions or services you request.
Device information: We may collect your device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers (e.g., IMEI, Android ID, IDFA, etc.), hardware serial number, network type, IP address, screen resolution, app version and settings, and other device and software information. This is to ensure that the App functions properly on your device, adapts to different hardware devices, enhances performance, and ensures account and system security.
App usage logs: To improve service quality, we automatically collect your usage information of this App, including function usage, click records, browsing history, search queries, crash logs, and error reports. This data helps us understand product usage, locate problems, and improve our services.
Document metadata: When you open, edit, or scan documents using the App, we may collect some metadata related to the document, such as file name, type (format), size, number of pages, creation or modification date, etc. We do not collect or view the specific content of your documents. The metadata is only used to provide document management functions you need (e.g., generating a recent files list, optimizing rendering speed), and for statistical analysis to improve product performance.
Camera and photo information: When you use the “Scan to PDF” feature, we will request access to your device’s camera and storage permissions. The images you capture or select from the album will be used to generate PDF files. These images are processed and stored locally on your device and will not be uploaded to our servers without your explicit consent (e.g., when using cloud backup or sharing functions). Camera permission is only used to enable scanning functions; we do not collect other information beyond the image itself.
Please note, we collect the above information to provide you with the features and services of the App. If you refuse to provide certain necessary information, you may be unable to use specific functions, but it will not affect your access to other core features of the App.
2. How We Use Collected Information
We use the collected information under this privacy policy and your authorization in the following scenarios:
Providing and maintaining core features: We use your information to provide the main functions and services of the App. For example, using device information to adapt to various mobile models for reading multi-format documents like PDF, Word, PPT, and Excel; using images to generate PDFs; supporting PDF annotations, highlights, underlines, strikethroughs; performing PDF merge and split; and implementing PDF encryption.
Optimizing product performance and user experience: Based on device info and logs, we analyze app performance to improve our product. For example, interface layout and workflow may be optimized based on frequently used formats or features, enhancing load/rendering speed for a smoother experience.
Troubleshooting and security: Crash logs and error reports help us identify and fix bugs to improve app stability. Device identifiers and logs assist with security analysis, detecting and preventing malicious or policy-violating behavior to protect your account and our services.
Customer support and communication: When you contact us (e.g., submit feedback or seek support), we use your contact details and issue description to respond, resolve problems, or provide support. Your feedback may also help us improve our services.
Product research and data analysis: We may aggregate device and usage data to understand user preferences and trends, aiding in evaluating features, planning new strategies, or conducting market research. Only anonymized or de-identified data is used, not identifying you personally.
Ad display and personalized recommendations (if applicable): If our App includes ad services, limited device or usage info may be shared with ad networks for non-personalized or personalized ad display and performance measurement. We do not share personally identifiable information with advertisers. Partners may only use identifiers or rough location data to show suitable ads.
Legal compliance: Within the scope required or permitted by law, your info may be used to meet legal obligations—such as record keeping, complying with court orders/subpoenas/government requests, or preventing unlawful activity.
We commit to only using your personal information as described or notified. If needed for any other purposes, we will seek your prior consent.
3. Use of Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies are data files stored on your browser or device to identify users anonymously. This App does not directly use cookies to track you. However, some third-party partners (e.g., analytics or ad providers) may use similar technologies (e.g., mobile SDKs, pixel tags, device identifiers) to collect and store your usage info for analyzing product usage, measuring ad performance, or improving service quality.
For example, integrated third-party analytics may use SDKs to automatically collect device IDs and usage data to generate aggregate reports; ad providers may collect Android Advertising ID to serve relevant ads.
Purpose of such technologies includes: remembering your preferences, ensuring service stability, identifying unique users, and analyzing service performance.
Your choices: Most times, you can manage cookies or tracking settings via your device or browser. You can reset or restrict ad ID use or clear and disable cookies. Disabling may affect some third-party features (e.g., ad personalization or analytics accuracy). We do not use cookies beyond App functions. Third-party use is governed by their respective privacy policies.
4. How We Share, Transfer, and Disclose Information
We take your personal information seriously and will not share, sell, rent, transfer, or disclose your personal information to unrelated third parties without your consent. We may only share or disclose information in the following situations:
With your prior consent: If you explicitly consent or request, we may share your info with third parties you designate (e.g., uploading documents to your selected cloud service).
To provide necessary services: Some features or services are jointly provided with partners or outsourced to service providers. We may share necessary personal info and require third parties to handle it per this policy, our instructions, and confidentiality/security terms (e.g., cloud storage or technical support).
Legal or rights protection: When required by law or allowed, or when judicial/government authorities request info per procedures, we may share it accordingly. Also, if necessary to enforce service terms, protect users/public safety, or protect App rights, we may share relevant info.
Business transfers: In case of mergers, acquisitions, asset transfers, reorganization, or bankruptcy, if your info is transferred, we will require the new party to continue honoring this policy or seek your new consent.
Anonymized information: We may use and share anonymized or de-identified info that cannot identify you (e.g., aggregate statistics on feature usage).
Note: We do not sell your personal info. Authorized third parties we share with must follow strict confidentiality terms and seek your consent if they further transfer your info.

We also conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to enhance protections. While we have implemented reasonable and effective measures to improve security, please understand that no information transmitted over the internet can be guaranteed as "absolutely secure." We will strive to ensure the security of any information you send to us. In the event of a personal information security incident (e.g., data breach or loss), we will immediately activate emergency protocols to mitigate the impact, notify you in accordance with legal requirements (including details of the incident, potential impacts, measures taken, risk mitigation recommendations, and remedial actions), and report the incident to regulatory authorities as required.
